IHE Integration Statement.

IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) is an international initiative that has been in existence since 1997 with the aim of improving the interoperability of information systems in healthcare systems. In particular, it aims to ensure that computer systems from different providers provide a common minimum standard for cooperation.


The IHE publishes Technical Frameworks as guidelines for the cooperation and interoperability of different information systems. Our products meet the relevant IHE requirements for health networking (virtual electronic patient records, health cards) and are regularly tested on IHE Connectathons.

Projectathon on the electronic patient file (EPD) 2017

The EPD-Projectathon is an interoperability test marathon that is tailored to and necessary for the Swiss requirements for electronic patient files. At the Projectathon, all interested professionals and organisations can test their IT systems amongst themselves and against the EPD reference environment.
