IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) was developed in 1997 and is an international initiative. The aim of IHE is to improve and support the interoperability of software products implemented for healthcare systems. Defined requirements should reach goods collaborations between software products from different providers. IHE publishes standards, so called technical frameworks which are used as guidelines to support cooperation and interoperability. These guidelines use well-known standards like HL7, CDA, WS, DICOM and ebXML.

Our products fulfill all relevant requirements set by the IHE for cross-institutional communication and are regularly tested on Connectathons. ITH icoserve already uses these standards for many years e.g. for the product sense®.
